John 3:5
Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water
and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.
Matt 28:18-20
18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto
me in heaven and in earth. 19 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name
of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: 20 Teaching them
to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even
unto the end of the world. Amen.
Rom 6:1-8
1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? 2
God forbid. How shall we, that are dead to sin, live any longer therein? 3 Know ye not, that so
many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death? 4 Therefore we are
buried with him by baptism into death: that like as Christ was
raised up from the dead by the glory of the Father, even so we also should walk in newness of
life. 5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the
likeness of his resurrection: 6 Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body
of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin. 7 For he that is dead is freed
from sin. 8 Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:
Acts 2:37-39
37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said
unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? 38 Then Peter
said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the
remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. 39 For the promise is unto you,
and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the LORD our God shall call.
Acts 8:12-17
12 But when they believed Philip preaching the things concerning the
kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women. 13
Then Simon himself believed also: and when he was baptized, he continued with Philip, and
wondered, beholding the miracles and signs which were done. 14 Now when the apostles which
were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter
and John: 15 Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the
Holy Ghost:16 (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name
of the Lord Jesus.) 17 Then laid they their hands on them, and they received the Holy Ghost.
Acts 10:44-48
44 While Peter yet spake these words, the Holy Ghost fell on all them
which heard the word. 45 And they of the circumcision which believed were astonished, as
many as came with Peter, because that on the Gentiles also was poured out the gift of the Holy
Ghost. 46 For they heard them speak with tongues, and magnify God. Then answered Peter, 47
Can any man forbid water, that these should not be baptized, which have received the Holy
Ghost as well as we? 48 And he commanded them to be baptized
in the name of the Lord. Then prayed they him to tarry certain days.
Acts 19:1-6
1 And it came to pass, that, while Apollos was at Corinth, Paul having
passed through the upper coasts came to Ephesus: and finding certain disciples, 2 He said unto
them, Have ye received the Holy Ghost since ye believed? And they said unto
him, We have not so much as heard whether there be any Holy Ghost. 3 And he said unto them,
Unto what then were ye baptized? And they said, Unto John's baptism. 4 Then said Paul, John
verily baptized with the baptism of repentance, saying unto the people,
hat they should believe on him which should come after him, that is, on Christ Jesus. 5 When
they heard this, they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus. 6 And when Paul had laid his
hands upon them, the Holy Ghost came on them; and they spake with tongues, and prophesied.
1 Cor 1:13-15
13 Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized in
the name of Paul? 14 I thank God that I baptized none of you, but Crispus and Gaius; 15 Lest
any should say that I had baptized in mine own name.
Col 2:8-12
8 Beware lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit, after the
tradition of men, after the rudiments of the world, and not after Christ. 9 For in him dwelleth all
the fulness of the Godhead bodily. 10 And ye are complete in him which is the head of all
principality and power: 11 In whom also ye are circumcised with the circumcision made without
hands, in putting off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ: 12 Buried with
him in baptism, wherein also ye are risen with him through the faith of the operation of God, who
hath raised him from the dead.
James 2:17-26
17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone.18 Yea, a man
may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew
thee my faith by my works. 19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils
also believe, and tremble. 20 But wilt thou know, O vain man, that faith without works is dead?
21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works, when he had offered Isaac his son upon the
altar? 22 Seest thou how faith wrought with his works, and by works was faith made perfect?
23 And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto
him for righteousness: and he was called the Friend of God. 24 Ye see then how that by works a
man is justified and not by faith only. 25 Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by
works, when she had received the messengers, and had sent them out another way? 26 For as
the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also.
1 Peter 3:20-22
20 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water. 21 The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now save us (not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience toward God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ:
22 Who is gone into heaven, and is on the right hand of God; angels and authorities and powers being made subject unto him.
Titus 3:4-7
4 But after that the kindness and love of God our Saviour toward man appeared, 5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost; 6 Which he shed on us abundantly through Jesus Christ our Saviour; 7 That being justified by his grace, we should be made heirs according to the hope of eternal life.
Acts 4:10-12
10 Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, [even] by him doth this man stand here before you whole. 11 This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. 12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. "
Heb 11:1-10
1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not
seen. 2 For by it the elders obtained a good report. 3 Through faith we understand that the
worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things
which do appear. 4 By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by
which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts: and by it he being
dead yet speaketh. 5 By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not
found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he
pleased God. 6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must
believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. 7 By faith Noah,
being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving
of his house; by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousnes which
is by faith. 8 By faith Abraham, when he was called to go out into a place which he should after
receive for an inheritance, obeyed; and he went out, not knowing whither he went. 9 By faith he
sojourned in the land of promise, as in a strange country
dwelling in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob, the heirs with him of the same promise: 10 For he
looked for a city which hath foundations, whose builder and maker is God.
Eph 2:8-10
8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the
gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. 10 For we are his workmanship,
created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that should walk in
them.
James 2:17-26
17 Even so faith, if it hath not works, is dead, being alone. 18 Yea, a man
may say, Thou hast faith, and I have works: shew me thy faith without thy works, and I will shew
thee my faith by my works. 19 Thou believest that there is one God; thou doest well: the devils

23 And the scripture was fulfilled which saith, Abraham believed God, and it was imputed unto

25 Likewise also was not Rahab the harlot justified by works, when she had received the
messengers, and had sent them out another way? 26 For as the body without the spirit is dead,
so faith without works is dead also.
John 3:11-15
11 Verily, verily, I say unto thee, We speak that we do know, and testify
that we have seen; and ye receive not our witness. 12 If I have told you earthly things, and ye
believe not, how shall ye believe, if I tell you of heavenly things? 13 and no man hath ascended
up to heaven, but he that came down from heaven, even the Son of man which is in heaven. 14
And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up:
15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
Luke 6:46-49
46 And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say? 47
Whosoever cometh to me, and heareth my sayings, and doeth them, I will shew you to whom he
is like: 48 He is like a man which built an house, and digged deep, and laid the foundation on a
rock: and when the flood arose, the stream beat vehemently upon that house, and could not
shake it: for it was founded upon a rock. 49 But he that heareth, and doeth not, is like a man that
without a foundation built an house upon the earth; against which the stream did beat
vehemently, and immediately it fell; and the
ruin of that house was great.
1 John 3:3-6
3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his
commandments. 4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and
the truth is not in him. 5 But whoso keepeth his word, in him verily is the love of God perfected:
hereby know we that we are in him. 6 He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to
walk, even as he walked.
Mark 12:28-32
28 If then God so clothe the grass, which is to day in the field, and to
morrow is cast into the oven; how much more [will he clothe] you, O ye of little faith? 29 And
seek not ye what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink, neither be ye of doubtful mind. 30 For all
these things do the nations of the world seek after: and your Father knoweth that ye have need
of these things. 31 But rather seek ye the kingdom of God; and all these things shall be added
unto you. 32 Fear not, little flock; for it is your Father's good pleasure to give you the kingdom.
Acts 3:14-16
14 But ye denied the Holy One and the Just, and desired a murderer to be
granted unto you; 15 And killed the Prince of life, whom God hath raised from the dead;
whereof we are witnesses. 16 And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong,
whom ye see and know: yea, the faith which is by him hath given him this perfect soundness in
the presence of you all.
Rom 1:15-17
15 So, as much as in me is, I am ready to preach the gospel to you that are
at Rome also. 16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto
salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. 17 For therein is the
righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
Rom 3:3-4
3 For what if some did not believe? shall their unbelief make the faith of God
without effect? 4 God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou
mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome when thou art judged.
